Located in Ano Mathraki village just beside the small church of St Spiridon you will find the traditional local Kafenion “Kentro”. They serve drinks at very reasonable prices and on some summer evenings charcoal grilled souvlaki or lamb along with many other  surprises. After a long period of closure the Taverna was recently reopened by its owner “DouDous”.

In conjunction with St Spiridon church, Kentro mounts an annual music and dancing festival on the Agios Spiridon saints day 13th July….popular with the local community and attracting many visitors from Corfu and New York
